Ensemble Serendipity will perform a concert of baroque music on original instruments Saturday, May 20th at 7:30PM. The Concert and reception will take place at St Alban's Episcopal Church in Davidson. Suggested donation is $10. Call 704 560-0101 for more information. Ensemble Serendipity features Soprano Leila Lazenby, joined by instrumentalists Rebecca Troxler (baroque flute), Barbara Blaker Krumdieck (baroque cello), Robbie Link (cello and viola da gamba), and Henry Lebedinsky (harpsichord). Leila Lazenby currently lives in Atlanta. Rebecca Troxler is the Flute faculty at Duke University, Robbie Link performs and teaches in the Durham/Chapel Hill area, Barbara Krumdieck and Henry Lebedinsky both live in Davidson where they perform frequently. The musicians in Ensemble Serendipity travel far and wide in order to bring their passion for early music to a larger audience. This program will include works by Bach, Handel, Purcell and Vitali.
