I began playing drums at the age of twelve and by the time I was fifteen I played my first paying gig. That gig just happen to be a VCU fraternity toga party, from then on I knew I was going to be a drummer. Since then the drums have taken me over to the West coast, the North East, The South East and everywhere in between.
Upon graduating high school East Carolina University offered me a scholarship, which I graciously accepted. While at ECU I studied with several excellent teachers (listed below) and had a lot of great opportunities to perform with many groups and ensembles on campus as well as several gigs unaffiliated with the the university.
Since then I have had an active freelance career performing various styles of music with many different artists.
