A program of newly unearthed works from a Dresden collection of music during the reign of Friedrich Augustus I, including works by J. C. Bach and Mozart, in arrangement for two harpsichords. These pieces were played by the king himself with his court composer and arranger, Peter August. The program also includes J.S Bach’s Concerto for Two Harpsichords in C-major, BWV 1061. Elaine Funaro & Beverly Biggs, harpsichords. The duo will be joined on the J.S. Bach by a baroque string ensemble:  Allison Edberg Nyquist, Elizabeth Phelps, Suzanne Rousso, Stephanie Vial, and Robbie Link.
