Join the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble as they celebrate their 39th season and return to the beautiful Carolina Theatre! Based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble has produced award-winning and world-renowned dancers, such as Michelle Dorrance, Elizabeth Burke, Jason Janas, and Jared Grimes. This year’s annual show, Step In Time, features all 35 members of the company, ages 8-18, along with guest artist and internationally acclaimed performer, Tre Dumas. Step In Time has something for everyone- traditional jazz tap, body percussion, improvisation, and cutting-edge contemporary choreography, not to mention a live jazz band and vocalists.
