After a couple years of piano Daniel begged his mother for a set of drums. He studied with the great John W Henry in Illinois for his formative education and general artistic inspiration. Upon moving to Chapel Hill in the year 2000 he began playing with many different groups. He joined the Countdown Quartet shortly after and was with them for three years. He then joined The Old Ceremony and has been a member for 12 years. He is also a member of the Onyx Club Boys and Amadivers. He does studio work in the area and prides himself in style versatility . He is currently teaching private lessons in Carrboro and playing with many different artists. He remains a believer and teacher of flow in music and life.
