Keenan McKenzie is a saxophonist and clarinetist who performs both in the Triangle and around the country. With the Mint Julep Jazz Band and Michael Gamble’s Rhythm Serenaders, he has recently performed in cities including New York, Austin, Rochester, Cleveland, and Orlando. He is also a member of the popular dance band The Shakedown, and plays frequently with the North Carolina Jazz Repertory Orchestra. Keenan is an active music educator and an in-demand arranger and composer. His works have been aired on WUNC and recorded by both collegiate and professional ensembles.
